I was born in RAF Lakenheath, England a proud Air Force brat. By the time I reached school age my family had made Delta Township their home. It was here I was raised. My husband and I purchased a home in Mulliken, just west of Grand Ledge. We have a small piece of land where we raise chickens and goats as family. We are small business owners and as such I understand the principles of listening and great customer service.

My background consists mostly of accounting and finance. I began my career as an Accountemp working all across the region fixing various company's challenges. I found I had a Knack for problem solving. My experience grew from working in accounting departments to becoming a CFO. My understanding of financial reports has served me well in public service. A skill I am grateful for.

I am an avid volunteer. Serving my community whenever an opportunity presents itself. I am currently the treasurer for the National Wild Turkey Federation - Eaton County Struttin Toms. I am a board member for C.A.S.A ( Court Appointed Special Advocate). I am a volunteer with Meals on Wheels and also a coordinator for Labor of Love. I believe that service is the root of love. That is what lead me to run for County Commissioner. An opportunity to serve. I have learned that thru an elected office you can make your neighbors lives a little bit better. So for me being elected to our State House of Representatives would allow me to serve more of my friends and neighbors.

               My Values

  • God comes first.

  • Family comes next.
  • Justice should prevail.
  • Service above self.

  • Humility is a gift.
  • Bipartisanship is a must.
